Second Wednesday sessions
The sessions that used to be at the White Hart in Hingham on the second Wednesday of the month are now held at the Marlingford Bell. These are acoustic sessions for folk musicians, run on the lines of traditional musicians’ sessions, and encourage participation in the playing of session tunes without the support of the written music. Next date: 11 February.
First Wednesday session venue found
After the disappointment of the unexpected closure of the Parson Woodforde at the beginning of the year, a new venue has been found for these monthly events. The next session will be on 4 February at the Angel, Swanton Morley. All welcome.
Marina Florance at Norwich Arts Centre
Following the success of her recent CD ‘Somewhere Down the Line’, Norwich Folk Club member Marina Florance will be appearing with her band at Norwich Arts Centre on Wednesday 14 January.
